The village of Ponta Do Ouro Mozambique has loads of activities...The beach of Ponta Do Ouro is absolutely breathtaking. Crystal clear water which is a warm Indian Ocean temperature all year round. White sand, one can play beach football (soccer), volleyball, frisbee, or simply beach walking and shell collecting. Snorkeling, kite surfing, dolphin swimming and diving make Ponta a real paradise.
The Gamboozini Lodge can organize snorkeling, diving (advanced Padi or open-water Padi), wild dolphin swimming, kite surfing, surfing, deep sea fishing, shore fishing, paragliding and nature walks including a hike up to the light house, giving you a surrounding vista of the whole of Ponta Do Ouro and South Africa. When the season is right, one can whale watch and experience turtles in their natural habitat. Simply amazing. Want to learn how to cook a local meal over a fire? Want to visit the local school? Want to visit a Ponta Volunteer program working with local children? We can organize these and other special activities as well.
